Service Description

Using veterinary grade cameras, this diagnostic tool is able to see differences in a horses thermal and neural condition. When uses by a fully trained and qualified thermographer, the results and not only act as a method of identifying trauma and stress but also as a preventative tool ( thermal images can show issues such as forthcoming lameness, laminitis etc prior to presented symptoms). Not only does thermal imaging show areas of inflammation but also areas affected by nerve damage. The horse is imaged in a specific format, area by area, with over 80 images taken. Treatment involves initial static assessment, confirmation and body score and well as a post report containing all images. Pricing starts from £70* Dynamic and Static Assessments also available.
